Hydrogenated styrene-isoprene block copolymers (SEPS), SEP series are (styrene-ethylene/propylene) block copolymers synthesised using styrene and isoprene as monomers. It can be classified into linear and star type according to its topology. It has good oil solubility, high transparency, thixotropy and thickening properties. Hydrogenated styrene-isoprene block copolymers (SEPS) are mainly used in the field of oil-soluble rheology modifiers, such as thickeners for fibre optic cable/fibre optic filler slurries, cosmetic thickeners, and lubricant viscosity index improvers. It can also be used in the field of coatings, adhesives, asphalt modification and so on.
